This video emphasizes that life is not always easy and can be cruel and unfair. It can bring you down and keep you there if you let it. The speaker reminds the person that it's not about how hard life hits, but about how resilient you are and how you keep moving forward. They encourage the person to know their worth and go after what they want without blaming others for their current situation.
The idea was to cut together some stock footage, add some graphic and motion design over the top of a great monologue from one of the later Rocky movies. Read More

Finding Neverland (2004) Trailer Video Edit
The story of Sir J.M. Barrie's friendship with a family who inspired him to create Peter Pan.
I built this trailer by picking out visuals I liked, a music cue that fits the story's emotions well, and adding sound effects to enhance the audio bed. This trailer is a good attempt at telling the main story of the film, although it does seem a little dialogue heavy to me after rewatching it. Maybe we'll give it another attempt sometime. Read More
Cinestudy Horror Scene Video Edit Challenge
A fun project to work on. Cinestudy provided the footage. My part was to organize the footage, form the story and cut it together without the aid of a script. Sound effects were added to try and enhance the footage and some color grading to try and set a darker mood. Read More
Poker Night (Short Film) Video Edit
I wish I could remember where I found this footage provided specifically for practicing video editing. The quality is good and the amount of footage is not overwhelming for cutting together a very short film. For this piece I added titles, music and cut together the footage in a way that conveys the quick story with a funny twist. Read More
The Landing Trailer Video Edit
A man returns to the Midwestern farm of his childhood on a desperate mission to unearth the horrifying truth of what landed there in the summer of 1960. This was my first attempt at creating a trailer for this Perception Pictures film. While it works pretty well, it lacks a little bit of emotion. I do like many of the visuals from the film and the story has a great twist ending. The film, directed by Josh Tanner, was part of the Trailer Editing course for Film Editing Pro curriculum. So I Married An Axe Murderer Extended Trailer Video Edit
A San Francisco poet who fears commitment suspects his girlfriend may have a knack for killing off her significant others.
One of my favorite movies! I created this extended trailer with the idea of conveying the main story points, but without giving away the twist ending. I chose the music cues, the visuals and organized it all over a sound bed that includes sound effects. Read More
Clash of the Titans Trailer Video Edit
Perseus, a demigod and the son of Zeus, battles the minions of Hades and the Underworld in order to stop them from conquering Olympus and Earth.
A full length trailer for this action adventure movie. Put together with the goal of telling what I believe to be the main story of the film. I chose the visuals, music and built the sound bed. Of all the trailers I've created so far, this has become my favorite. Read More
